Stittsville’s Vintage Market is also home to Elizabeth’s Barbie Museum, one of the largest Barbie Doll collections in the world; founded by Elizabeth Kondruss in order to share her love for Mattel’s iconic fashion doll. This love started with the Tutti Barbie Doll in 1965, and has since then grown into a remarkable collection containing over 24,000 Barbie Dolls and accessories, collected over the last 50 years. The Barbie Museum has been featured in multiple news sources, including the Ottawa Citizen and Metro News Ottawa.
